Editorial Portrait of Vaughn Brown in San Francisco, CA | Bicycling Magazine
Life would be less fun without photography or bikes. This shoot included both. Below are images from an editorial portrait shoot in San Francisco for a Bicycling Magazine piece titled: “The Secret To No Sweat Commuter Style.” The subject was menswear designer and cyclist Vaughn Brown of Parker Dusseau.

Vaughn makes work shirts that are comfortable, functional, and dressy. The fabric is stain resistant and water repellent, while the vented shoulders allow extra movement. Besides details like rubber buttons that provide durability, the double pockets with a single flap are extra trick. So of course Vaughn used the same features in his collaboration shirt with Bicycling Magazine, and styled them well at each photo spot.
